Biography
One Way Out is a blues and roots band from southern Finland. The band was born in 2001 when bass player Esko Mikkola joined the group formed by guitarist Jani Dilén, guitarist-singer Paul Wallin and his drum playing cousin Olli Wallin.
When Olli left for Norway to study in the summer of 2004, the drum seat was taken over by Jarmo Korhonen and later that year harmonica player Ensio Takamäki joined in.
The Band has played in clubs and pubs, and on private parties from motorcycle club to fancy birthday gigs. Our set is built on our own material, spiced up with more or less known covers.
In 2009 Jamo left for new adventures and after some trials we reqruited Pauli "Pate" Peni as a new drummer. We also evolved to a 6-piece band when keyboardist Jan Björkroth joined in during the summer.
